Accessing Settings & Preferences
To access the settings:
Navigate to the main dashboard.
On the top-right corner, click on your profile icon.
From the dropdown menu, select 'Settings & Preferences.'
General Settings
User Profile:
Username: Change or update your Documint username.
Email: Update your primary email address.
Password: Change your current password for added security.
Document Autosave:
Toggle the autosave feature on or off.
Set the frequency of autosave (e.g., every 5 minutes).
Theme & Appearance
Themes: Switch between light and dark mode or select a custom color theme.
Font: Choose your preferred font style and size for the editing environment.
Editor Layout: Adjust the layout of your writing interface (e.g., full screen, split view).
Notifications
Email Notifications: Choose which activities prompt an email notification (e.g., collaborations, comments, updates).
In-app Notifications: Adjust the types of notifications you receive within the app.
Language & Regional Preferences
Language: Select your preferred language for the Documint interface.
Date & Time Format: Choose between various date and time formats.
Currency: Set your preferred currency for any transactional data within documents.
Data & Privacy
Data Backup: Enable or disable automatic data backups. Set backup frequency and location.
Two-Factor Authentication: Add an extra layer of security to your Documint account.
Account Deletion: Steps and considerations if you wish to delete your Documint account.
Reset & Restore Defaults
If you ever feel overwhelmed with customizations, Documint offers an easy way to reset:
Reset Settings: Revert all settings back to their default state.
Restore Previous Settings: If you've recently changed settings and wish to go back, use this feature to restore your previous configuration.
